LaQianya Thompson Huynh
LaQianya Thompson Huynh is a proud associate member of Author's Guild, and Association for Coaching. Having published books Lovely Endearments; September 2012 and Compilations of Love; April 2013, LaQianya is also noted for her modern, innovative play writing, producing, composing, and directing of her original works. The first musical production, My Valentine the Musical's full house premier was at the Hippodrome State Theatre in Gainesville, Florida on April 27, 2014. Subsequent musical productions, Wild Honey Tales the Musical, July 28, 2019 and Wild Honey Tales the Musical II, November 10, 2019 was co- sponsored by the City of Gainesville's Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs Department, a CAPRA accredited agency.
Her productions integrated many dance genres, and original cross-cultural music compositions, through performance art, encourage self-care, and shared stories of love and uncertainties in life. At the same time, promote diversity, music appreciation, performance art, dance, and creative storytelling from her published works and unpublished short stories.
Aside from being and author and playwright LaQianya is a certified health coach, certified life coach, national certified medical assistant and recently certified in time management. Her niche practices are disease management, emotional wellness, well-being, love, intimacy, personal development, interpersonal relationships and time management. Her greatest joy is to humbly care for people and encourage effective behavior change in people's lives by making them aware of their potential and building their confidence.
LaQianya in part accomplishes this by working in a private family practice as national certified medical assistant, her specialty certificates include; mental health, minor surgery, laboratory methods, military trauma, domestic violence, addictions, podiatry, ophthalmology, grief awareness, nutrition and obstetrics and gynecology for certified medical assistants. Also, she enjoys taking freelance photo journaling assignments to support the local community, preforming international arts, foreign newspapers and regional foreign magazines, and documenting global events.
LaQianya Thompson Huynh was born in May of 1978 in Macclenny, Florida. At the age of 8 her family relocated to Bainbridge Georgia. On June 4, 1996 LaQianya graduated with honors and later relocated to Gainesville, Florida. In 2004 she earned an Associate of Science in Medical Assisting at City College. In 2007 LaQianya studied project management and business management at City College, in 2008 transferred to Ashford University to earn BA credits in health care management, health care administration and other health care studies. LaQianya enjoys dancing traditional Argentine Tango, Contra, Isreali Folk, Salsa, Lindy Hop, West coast and East coast swing dances. The author enjoys singing, playing percussion instruments, creative writing, cooking, learning languages, and spending time with friends and family.
